Ask (And Tell) Pica!

**Messages are no longer being accepted in favor of a greater focus on art and storytelling. I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who submitted messages for this comic in the past! The former leader of a small, disbanded rescue team, Pica the Pikachu devotes his efforts into making his world a better place, and he's looking for help from an important ally who's worlds apart: YOU! Simply push him in the right direction, and he'll do his best to follow. You can also message him directly and he'll provide real responses in the midst of what's happening in the comic. ----------------------------------- While this comic started life as an interactive sprite comic, it has more recently become a traditional comic with its own art style starting with Lost - Page 10. There were large gaps of time between Lost Pages 10, 11, and 12, with 11 and 12 being three whole years apart. The new style has been cemented since page 12, and the comic now updates more consistently. Also check out Wild ZUBAT Appeared, a bonus gag-based series (featuring ZUBAT) placed after the sprite comics but before Lost, which updates alongside the main comic!

Computer Issues, Sickness, and More

November 13th, 2016, 1:27 pm

Greetings from the distant land of... my phone! I say that because my computer's having some serious issues which are rendering it unusable right now. The BSoDs it sometimes gets are now the worst they've ever gotten, and it's now stuck in an endless loop of them once it starts up. That means this puts a limit to how much I can do for the comic.

Luckily, I can still work on pages at my school, so I'll just have to work on it there instead. But that's leading into another obstacle that has to do with me!

I've gotten an upper respritory infection that's giving me the worst cough I've ever had. Moving around, laughing, and even just speaking triggers it, and it naturally makes me very winded if it happens too much. I'm taking a medication to help it go away, so hopefully it'll work. I'm sure I'll be fine eventually, but that in addition to the computer issues is making it difficult to continue work on the comic at this time.

I take working on this comic very seriously, though, so I'll still soldier on with it. I wanted to have the next page of Lost up soon, but that won't be possible under the current circumstances. I can't even make a Zubat comic until Tuesday since that's when my next class is, so it's with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that as of right now I cannot update the comic as soon as I'd like to.

On the bright side, Pokémon Sun and Moon are going to come out soon! There's been a ton of changes, including smaller, fundamental changes to certain Pokémon that either makes them better or worse than they've been in the past, so it's safe to say that this pair of games will be quite different from its predecessors. The in-game battles will apparently also get far more challenging near the end of the game, using sets and EV spreads almost like a real competitive battler would use. I always thought regular non-battle-facility trainers were too easy to beat, so I'm looking forward to that.

To recap from before; uploading new pages will be difficult due to having computer issues, being sick is also complicating matters, and Pokémon Sun and Moon will ease the pain because they'll be awesome.
